Come enjoy all that the west coast of Canada has to offer! Wise Equine Veterinary Services is an exclusively equine, privately owned practice located in the Fraser Valley of BC, Canada. Established in 1995, Wise Equine has been a trusted source for clients’ equine medical care needs. We are a primary ambulatory practice with a small clinic for treatments and non-acute care patient stays. We provide a variety of services for our diverse equine clientele but focus on sports medicine, dentistry, preventative medicine, reproductive services and on farm emergencies. We strive to provide exceptional, compassionate care and communication.
Currently our on call schedule is 1:5 and long weekends are split evenly between veterinarians. We have a close working relationship with our local internist and other boarded specialists are in close proximity if needed for consultation. UCD Veterinary Hospital:
Lecture Assistant Professor (above the bar) in Equine Clinical Studies
This is a specified purpose cover, full-time position in Equine Clinical Studies (estimated duration 6 months).
The successful candidate will play an important role in the ongoing development of the Equine Clinical Studies discipline and the Equine Field Service within the Section of Equine Clinical Studies, Diagnostic Imaging and Anaesthesia and the UCD Veterinary Hospital. In particular, the candidate will participate fully in undergraduate teaching, including clinical teaching, in the Equine Field Service. This service includes for example first opinion equine work, dentistry services, sports medicine related services, reproductive work and onsite support/aftercare of horses that have received specialist services at the UCD Veterinary Hospital.
It is anticipated that clinical service and related instruction will constitute the majority of the appointee’s effort in addition to didactic teaching and other scholarly activity. Support for clinical research will also be required.

Equine Veterinary Surgeon Seeks Locum Opportunities:
Equine veterinarian with decades of experience in the U.S. seeking locum opportunities, with the possibility of leading to a full time or seasonal position. Most of my career has been with racehorses and a mix of eventers, show jumpers, dressage and pleasure horses. Limited breeding work but comfortable handling dystocias and sick foals, lacking in reproductive ultrasound skills but currently working with a local breeding farm veterinarian and the staff at Cornell to gain some degree of competency. Dual citizenship. Currently waiting restoration to the VCI Register after voluntary removal a couple of years ago due to expense.

Equine Specialist Surgeon, Queensland Australia
Sunshine Coast Equine Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full time Equine Specialist Surgeon. The candidate should be ACVS OR ECVS Board certified or hold a Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. This is a new position so there will be ample opportunity for the right candidate to expand the surgical caseload and the range of surgical procedures offered by the clinic.
